Object Name Dress
Description Long, black, silk dress. Sleeves, bodice front down to top of bust, and top-third bodice back are made of black lace. Round neckline edge and short sleeve edges are trimmed with black beads. Lace bodice meets bodice fabric in zigsag pattern trimmed with beads. Fabric bodice is overlaid with a fine, black netting decorated with ornate beadwork front and back. Approximately 15 cm - wide gathered cummerbund. Skirt front has netted ornately beaded fine netting apron attached at waist. Apron is approximated 23 cm wide at waist widening to approximately 54 cm at bottom. Bottom corners of apron extend down into points. Entire outer edge of apron is bead trimmed. Dress closes at center back to waist, and then across waistline to left side. Metal hook and thread eye closures are used down back and across waistline, left side opening has two snap closures.
